Rutland

The name just about says it all. It’s dark, dirty, and cheap. There aren’t too many restrooms in not willing to use, but upon attempting to go there after my meal, I quickly found the source of the raw sewage smell my colleague and I caught whiffs of as we reluctantly ate our lunch. The food actually tasted pretty decent, and our server was friendly and fast. I honestly can’t imagine how this place hasn’t been shut down by the board of health. I will literally choose anywhere else over Rutland Restaurant in my future travels to the area.

Drugs are actively being sold of this restaurant. An investigation is being set up against them. Please save your time, money, most importantly your health and stay away from this location.

Wife got a grilled ham and cheese and the crust was cut off the bread in places. Upon inspection found mold on the bread. When we pointed it out to the server they took it off the table with no explanation or apology.

Drove all the way here for supper and it was closed at 6pm!!

The experience of eating at a restaurant that has been here since 1917 is amazing. Good food and hospitable owner and staff.
