Ruby's Oyster Bar and Bistro - Rye

This restaurant is one of my favorites. I really enjoy the food and the service. However, the atmosphere could use some improvement, as it can get quite noisy and the tables are a bit too close together. Dining here costs about $20-$30 per person. I recommend trying the Daily Assortment of Oysters, Sauteed Pei Mussels, and Fried Calamari.

Really bad traffic so I decided to get off I 95 in Rye NY. What a great main street. Many restaurants. Looked in the windows and decided on ruby's. Was really good. I had some oysters and shared a seafood pasta dish. In and out in less than an hour then back on road and traffic was gone Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

I recently discovered this restaurant and had dinner there last night. I loved the atmosphere and overall appearance of the restaurant. The appetizers and steak frites were delicious. There were many options on the menu to choose from. I can't wait to go back again.

Upscale French restaurant pricing, mediocre food at best. The pumpkin soup was probably our favorite part of the meal, but the French dip was simply atrocious. Came with pommes frites which were delicious, however a bite into the French dip and it was raw meat and fat inside. Couldn't chew through it, couldn't even cut through with a knife, had to ask for a replacement, which they did. However, upon returning my plate, my once crisp, dark, tasty pommes frites were now soggy, lighter fries. Ambiance was nice, staff friendly, so no complaints there.

Incredible Restaurant!! Food was AMAZING and Mike Geary and his staff were GREAT and made everyone feel at home. Highly Recommended!! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
