Balderson’s Welcome Cafe - Ryedale

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The home-cooked food was some of the best I've had in a long time. The staff was also excellent. I had breakfast here this morning and highly recommend giving it a try. Their locally baked goods are absolutely delicious!

Thornton le dale hidden gem, great selection of food, drink snacks super indoor and outdoor seating, 4 of us had lunch I had steak pie and for me it was the best I ever had, beautiful pastries with juicy tender bark and gravy supplements with chips garden raging again!

Such a lovely restaurant! The food is top-notch and they also have a charming gift shop filled with sweet treats.

This restaurant is a hidden gem with a variety of delicious home-cooked and freshly prepared meals. The coffee and scone were both outstanding. The service was excellent, with friendly and welcoming staff. The prices for both drinks and food are very affordable. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We had some very nice bacon sandwiches, on wonderful, soft bread rolls baked on site. Saw a family in the next take have the full English, it looked great so will return to try that. Bought a few bits in the adjoining bakery, good value all round.
