Lazy Sundae - Ryedale

This was our first visit to this lovely restaurant. We only stopped in for coffee and a snack, but the dishes we saw others enjoying looked delicious and beautifully presented. Our coffees were strong and flavorful, and the price was reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised to receive individual pots of butter instead of the usual small pats. We give it 4 stars only because we have had more visually appealing mochas elsewhere, but the complimentary amaretti cookies were a nice touch. The staff was friendly and efficient, and we look forward to trying the full menu soon. Thank you for a delightful half hour on a rainy afternoon.

We sat outside in the sun at this lovely little restaurant with our dog. We enjoyed fresh, moist cheeses with bread, butter, chutney, and salad. The coffee and tea were excellent, and we finished our meal with a wild cherry goats milk ice cream to take away. All of this for less than ten pounds! The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this place!

We always stop by this restaurant for delicious food on our way home from Goathland.

Absolutely wonderful caffe. warm and genuine welcome and quality food, all well presented. sandwiches are generously filled, with homemade coleslaw, crawling and properly dressed little salate. decent tea and fine selection of homemade cakes. well recommended.

Sat outside on a Sunny day in September! Staff very pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed the coffee very much with a good choice of cakes. Personally had the Carrot cake, absolutely delicious. Also very good value for money
