The Farmhouse Bakery - Ryedale

Lovely trip to the bakery cream jam scone fabulous. Got a gift voucher for a Christmas gift would definitely recommend if need gift ideas no one would be disappointed with a trip here .

Me and a few of the girls on my horse yard locally to the cafe quite often call in on our way passed for coffee and a cake! Elli is always so welcoming and has no issues with us stopping in onboard our ponies (granted we clean up after them! And called to double check first). Gorgeous cakes, friendly staff. Always worth a stop!

Called in on my way back from one business appointment and before the next one. Coffee and a cheese scone. Both sadly disappointed, the coffee didn 't taste particularly good and the cheese scone was 'on the small size ', particularly for the price. Disappointed. The steady stream of visitors to the loo show just how many folk stop by en route to the coast for a comfort break! The cakes looked absolutely amazing and I reckon I would have been better having one of those, but a cheese scone is my weakness!

This is an amazing place. A great range of homemade delights to get your taste buds singing. Very warm welcome and we had the pasty and ginger cake slice both of which were absolutely gorgeous. The owner who does all the baking and uses only top quality products which is absolutely apparent when you taste them. She is a lovely lady to talk to She also makes all her own chocolates in fact everything edible within the shop is homemade by her and looks truly amazing. Will defitintely be back again very soon.

We visit here whenever we are passing, as today a 40 mile detour is well worth the effort. This is a unique eatery serving a wide variety of home made treats specializing in cakes and chocolate. Cappuccino slice was much appreciated today whilst the male meat eater enjoyed a Scampston (like Cornish) pasty. I am told the hot chocolate is delicious and take away cannoli, marshmallows and biscuits were great. It is worth a visit just to see the display of patisserie on offer, chocolate porn!! Elly Rose was on lone duty today and was rushed off her feet over lunch but remained calm and cheerful whilst dispensing orders efficiently. We will be back but unfortunately not until July
