I HAVE VISITED FOUR RESTURANTS IN THE mESSINS SREA, ALL HAVE VARYING PROBLEMS, SOME SERIOUS BUT THIS DOES NOT, sMALL, aLGARVIAN BREAD IS NORMALLY VERY NICE, THEIRS IS NOT; STALE/DRY TASTELESS, AND THE PAPER NAPKINS ARE TISSUE THIN.tHAT SAID, THE STEAK WAS HUGE AND VERY NICE.sO WAS THE SALAD (DRESSED) AND THE CHIPS, NOT THANKFULLY,F, WERE NICE. cOUPLES WITH FRESH aLGARVIAN ORANGE JUICE, A FEAST AND ALL FOR €15! bUT WHAT MADE IT SPECIAL WAS THE WAITERESS, SPoke Eng,, attentertive and a lovely smile. A credit Well done.
The meal was fine but very noisy as there was a group of us about 25 and it was also busy. Lots of comments about the wine not being good though! I don't drink so can't comment
Stop here regular for a bifana and caneca, great prices and friendly service. Usually busy at lunch. We also visit for dinner as good food and drink at very reasonable prices. The black pork chops are excellent. Use this restaurant on every visit to Portugal and are never disappointed.
If going for lunch, it is not a place where you find the quitest moment. A lot of workers who like consistent food come there but there is enough staff to serve their clients. If you order full portion, you have to go there hungry indeed as the portions are very generous. For 8 €, all is included even a large beer or 0,5 l of house wine. On Wednesday, the backed sole is to recommend.
Service was very slow only one young girl to do everything. long wait for the food to be cooked, not a big choice either on the menu.
