Rui's Steakhouse - S BRÁS DE ALPORTEL

We called in on Friday night. It was extremely busy and thankfully they found us a table. We were a large group of nine. We had bread olives and dips, olive tapanard and tuna We all ordered Steaks, T bone, Fillet, Ribeye and chose the accompanying two side orders. Fries, salads, mushrooms and vegetables. The food was outstanding. The steaks were cooked as requested and were succulent. Our only moan the service was a little slow but bearing in mind how popular the restaurant is with locals and tourists I think we just needed to chill a bit more. If we ever went back to the area we certainly would return more than once.

May not look much from the outside but the food, drinks and service are second to none. We tried the Fillet Mignon, Chateaubriand and the Chicken Breast and all where sensational. Couple the main courses with excellent starters and a fine bottle of wine and you should be very happy. Prices are very reasonable. It's location is a little remote but the meal is well worth the taxi ride. Highly recommended.

Bom bife, acompanhamento sem destoar. Bom ambiente, produtos de qualidade. A repetir, se a vontade fôr de um bife.

My wife and I were here for their birthday party as a mistake. it turns out that the restaurant was a misleading call based on pastness when it was at another place. the front of the housekeeper was inconspicuous and made me feel like I was back in a transport café in Britain. the starters were very simple and usually from packages. when we asked why some of the ingredients advertised in the menu were missing on our teller, we said they could not be disturbed because they were closed for a holiday in a few days! our main thing was to cold. the expensive steak we ordered for 2 tasted more like a roasted joint and water was thicker than the sauce. the grilled vegetables were quite tasteful and I doubt that I came close to a grid. their “special” chips tasted identically with craps from a package of unmarked crawls. I can't comment on dessert because I didn't want to waste my money on something else from a package. we have said to the house front how disappointed we were and their answer was that no one had to complain and come back again and again, what for all eight other people who came this evening, six of them who appeared new on the square? all in all, for the fine gastronomic prices calculated there are far better restaurants in sao bras de alportel for choice.
