Contribuisci feedbackAlforon Mediterranean Lebanese Cuisine is an exceptional dining experience. Owners Aunt Samia and Chef George make you feel like family with their warm welcome. The food is authentic and delicious, capturing the true essence of Mediterranean and Lebanese flavors. Highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a memorable and heartfelt meal.
Awesome spot to try out Mediterranean Lebanese food in San Diego. 3 of us ordered: -chicken tawook -Sayyadieh (Fisherman's Rice) -Ouzi Lamb Chicken tawook (flatbread) was extremely tasty and very unique. The other two items were their top 2 most popular dishes (rice dishes). The flavors were great! If it is a small group, I would recommend only picking one of the rice dishes so you don't carb overload. Food definitely comes out a bit on the slower end. For the value, I did wish they provided more food. Staff is friendly. Owners/chefs made their ways around tables to check in. I'll be back for sure to try out different items on their menu! Extremly limited parking out front...otherwise, street parking.
Chef George and his wife are absolutely charming and fun. The food is spectacular. Every dish was delicious and distinctive. The Soujouk flatbread was a real standout. Felt like we were in a Lebanese home having Grandma's cooking. Can't wait to go back
We first tried this place to celebrate national falafel day. We have only gotten takeout here so far; they package the food so it travels well. Their use of herbs makes every dish flavorful without being too salty or over seasoned. Everything was tasty and we felt good afterwards. We’ve ordered again, would recommend, and are looking forward to dining-in in the future. I recommend the falafel wrap, the tabouli salad and the kibbie with yogurt sauce.
Excellent Arabic/Mediterranean restaurant in San Diego! The staff is very attentive and the food is delicious, with authentic flavors. An exceptional dining experience that I highly recommend.
