Island Prime - S San Diego

!!!Maybe the best bread I have ever eaten! We ordered more of it!!! Located on Harbor Island, Island Prime offers stunning views of the San Diego Bay, downtown skyline and Coronado Bridge. The main dining room showcases floor-to-ceiling windows and is propped up on wooden stilts over the water, making it the only waterfront steakhouse in the city of San Diego. The traditional steak and seafood menu crafted by Chef/Partner Deborah Scott features premium cuts and fresh catches a la carte as well as composed entrees. Signature dishes include the Island Prime Filet Trio, Seared Blackened Tuna and Chicken “Under a Brick”.

Had the daily special, halibut. Amazing. The tuna was also a great choice. Sitting by the water and watching the boats made for an enjoyable evening.

When the tourists roll their trucks SUVs into our town, we just park our convertibles in their shade. Life's a beach everyone wants to be us ! Best food in the US is found right here in SD ... the best water view restaurant is Island Prime C-Level.

Our family’s go to for special nights. Service is always on point, food is great, and the views are amazing!

Service was really just impeccable! Our server had such attention to detail and was so knowledgeable about every dish and drink we asked about (and we asked a lot! It was fun to watch the boats go by and the view was beautiful, also all the food was very delicious.
