I had mother's day reservations for brunch for 1.5 months. They notified me 6days prior to the reservation they are closing down. Very difficult to find a decent place for brunch, I wish they gave me a longer notice. Their customer service team is good, they followed up, explained and apologized.
Very aesthetic vibes for brunch on the busy University Ave. Parking can be tough and I imagine waits can get long, but we were lucky to have made a reservation earlier in the morning. We ordered the Ultimate Nomads cinnamon roll from our waiter's recommendation, which supports the bakery just down the street. We were disappointed with this one. It was small and on the drier side. I've had much better that cost way less. I would not order this again. We also had an croque madam and french toast. Both were yummy but overpriced for their portion and what they are. Both dishes arrived pretty much room temperature and not hot. Although the flavors were balanced, the dishes did not match their cost. I could make what they offer at home for a small fraction of their prices but perhaps you pay for the ambience.I think it would be a cute place to grab a pretty drink and share a snack but I would not return for a full meal.
Made a reservation a month in advance. Confirmed the night before. Show up with my group and the restaurant was closed with no warning or notice. Emailed management as to why and said they had no reservation notice from Open Table. That doesn't explain why the restaurant was closed during their normal business hours anyway ??.. super disappointed as I was looking toward to brunch with my bridesmaids here and had to settle for a different place down the street.
Do you like boozy breakfasts? Then this is the place! The cocktails were fab and the food was just as good. It’s a small menu but all of it was on point. Definitely get the cinnamon roll!!
