As we entered, he told us he had the hiccups. Okay. I asked for a sample of soup and was told, We haven 't done that for 4.5--5 years. Okay. We got our food and found a table. I visited the bathroom to wash my hands. It was very dirty; the pink ring in the toilet told a story of days and days of neglect. When I got back to the table, I noticed floor tiles popping up, and a dirty smear that passed for mopping, I guess, on the floor. I saw the young woman who prepared our food and told her about the impaired young man and the bathroom. She told me the young man was the manager !! and that she would tell him about the bathroom. Soon, she was back out with a cleaning kit to clean it. As we were exiting the door, the impaired manager did a loud wolf howl. I asked him why he did that and he pointed toward another employee and said, We work over 30 hours a week together, and when she touches me, I do that. Okay. The young woman not the young woman who cleaned the restroom waved her fingers at me and said, Bye bye. It was really a strange and unsettling experience. Out of the three employees I encountered, two seemed barely able to function, and they 're likely to get someone sick at some point. I regret eating there.
I feel bad even writing this because I love this place and the people are nice, but ultimately my order is wrong almost every time. This never used to happen so I’m not sure what changed. With the “new” ordering system you can’t see what they’re making to notice something wrong during the process either.
I hate to leave this review but I can 't try the soups!! They 're all right there, but if you ask for a taste they give you the covid made us stop excuse. Well I called the Fort Collins Health Department today, and EVERYONE IS FREE TO GIVE OUT SAMPLES. it 's one thing if the private business doesn 't want to give samples, I 'd be fine with that. But the employees at this location and the CSU location have all lied to my face, stating they are not able to give samples because of covid. LIARS!!!!!!!!!!!! It 's a shame too, their food is usually pretty decent. I don 't spend my money with dishonest businesses, and so I won 't return.
This place makes tasty, mid-tier, food at a fast food price. Salads are good and there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options with soup. That said, they should really be more careful when it comes to almonds with regard to food allergies. Edit: Quality plummeted in the past couple years
This is my all time favorite lunch spot. It never gets old with rotating soups and more. I love mixing two soups together too. Their foccocia bread is amazing and have loved everything I've had there.
