Charming little café with incredibly delicious food! The empanada menu is extensive, featuring several vegetarian options. Today, I tried the classic cheese empanada, which was a bit different from what I expected, but it was fantastic. I also had the yuca fries; the aioli and cheese topping was so good that I savored every last bite.

I had a fantastic lunch at Quiero Cafe! The cubano sandwich, Colombian hot dog, chorizo lunch plate, chicken tamale, and yuca fries were all incredibly impressive and satisfying. The quality of each item was exceptionally authentic, and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Quiero Cafe; this little restaurant can definitely hold its own against bigger city alternatives.

What a discovery! The carnitas here are among the best I've ever tasted. We absolutely loved the patacón, which is a fried plantain topped with your choice of meat, salad, avocado, and pink sauce, all served with rice and black beans. I can't imagine it being any better than with pork; the juices really soaked into the plantain and made it incredibly flavorful. The fried empanadas were a little on the sweet side for our taste, but we really enjoyed the jalapeño cheese tamales and the coconut limonada, which tasted like a delightful virgin cocktail. The ordering process is casual at the counter, and while the seating was a bit cramped, we can’t wait to make this our go-to spot!

Beautiful space with exposed beams. Friendly and professional service. The food was delicious and very fresh; made to order. Many gluten-free options. You order at the switch and then take a seat. My family has two thumbs!

A delightful find! Delicious empanadas, arepas, quesadillas and burritos packed with flavor! The Cuban was delectable and the mango margarita had mango purée in it — which was next level. And the casual atmosphere made it a chill meal. New favorite!
