After waiting at least 20 minutes our food came out and my omelette had a to of onions, food was cold and all of our hash browns were barely cooked. I sent my omelette back but asked for it to be put in to-go container because I figured I wouldn't get it before my family were done eating. To my surprise it came out very quick. But unfortunately this time they put nothing inside the omelette, no wonder it didn't take very long. I sent it back and had it removed from my bill because I wasn't about to pay $16 for nothing. Either terrible cook, or terrible server, or both!
We had a nice dinner, quickly sat and our sweet server was very attentive! It was a little warmer inside than we expected for a restaurant with a/C, but overall it was nice.Food: 4/5
First it was small things, I asked for no lemon in my tea, easy enough pulled it out and put it on the table. I also asked for extra napkins right when we ordered our drinks, never got them. When placing our food order, she took my mother's order, then my order and then my daughters order. After a brief moment she asked if I could give her my order again, so I did. Again, not a big deal. I ordered a burger. I have believed it came with no mayo, I have an egg allergy. When she brought out our food she placed egg Benedict in front of me. I said no, this isnt what I ordered. They did put a rush on a burger, but my family was almost done eating by the time it came out. It had mayo on it, I missed it in the description. I asked the waitress and explained I had an egg allergy and didn't see it listed. She asked if she could have them remake it, I said no they were all done eating, I gave my daughter the bacon and lettuce that had the mayo on it and removed the bun. I enjoyed my fries and burger patty, I couldn't be upset, I should have read it better. The MANAGER came to our table and asked about what happened. I explained I ordered the burger and she brought out the Benedict, easy mistake, they had a Benedict with a similar name. And that I missed that the burger had mayo. She immediately cut me off, became condescending and said Well I checked before I came over and its clearly listed. Mind you, I didn't ask for anything to be removed, remade or the manager AND I spoke politely to her. I stated that there had been some other smaller issues as well and I wasn't upset. She walked away, then came back 5 minutes later with a receipt stating that it was removed and basically told me it was my fault. She was very rude. If. I had been rude to the waitress or her I could understand the attitude. But I should have clarified if there was mayo so I didn't want to make a big deal about it. We had to go up front to pay for our bill, there were 5 to 6 employees, including this manager and when they saw us walk up, they rushed out to the kitchen. We waited thankfully a short time for our waitress who was covering both sides to come out and she rang us out.My issue is not with the waitress, she is young and probably learning. Or the mess up on the food, things happen. It's the way the manager spoke to me and my family and then disappeared when we tried to leave. It was unprofessional and really almost ruined our day, especially as this was our first outing since my daughter had open heart surgery a week prior. Unacceptable Saco IHOP, do better!!
Waited 25 minutes for food then got a soggy waffle, hard cooked eggs on eggs Benedict with an untoasted English muffin and horrible tasting crepes. Definitely would not recommend at least today.Saw many other tables sending food back as well and it takes just as long to get remade dishes as it does to get regular food.Update. Got food and waffle still soggy, eggs were now soft boiled but English muffin still not toasted even though I specifically asked
I was so mad at the waitress that we had the place not busy that she was chatting with her other employees instead of attending to the guests. I ordered country fried chicken, and it didn't come with enough gravy, so I asked for extra. Then she forgot about it, so I had to wave her down, and then my husband got the breakfast sampler it was supposed to come with ham, and she argued that it doesn't when it does so I said just give me a side of ham then and she literally waited until the ham got cooked before she brought my gravy over so I had to eat cold food at this point. Then I wanted to get an ice water and more creamers so I could enjoy another cup of coffee but she never came over to ask how our food was so I got passed and left TIP OF DAY PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CUSTOMERS.
