The sashimi was servicable tho, and the rice was fluffy and sticky, if a little too sweet. Spicy edamame was decent, and the fried banana was fire after a few mins in the air fryer. Will probably order from here again.
The cucumbers were bland and lacked flavor; they were meant to be seasoned with vinegar and sugar, but I couldn't taste anything, which was quite disappointing. On a positive note, the sesame balls, gyoza, and vegetable tempura were good.
The sushi rolls were enjoyable, but I found the miso soup to be quite disappointing and I wouldn’t order it again. There were only two small pieces of tofu in the entire bowl; it was mostly just broth.
I wouldn't recommend the bento box unless you enjoy chicken that's full of bones and cartilage. I think it's time to return to Express Teriyaki instead of coming here. The sushi rolls were just average. The A5 Shrimp Tempura (6 pieces) was a bit soggy.
S1. Miso Soup was salty and flavorful, not just a watery broth. It's become increasingly hard to find miso in general, so having this comfort was well met. Sesame Balls were soft and not too sweet, as they should be. The R16. Famous Star was pretty good, but got cold fast. Would recommend eating the Famous Star first. Finally the M38. Sake Maki was amazing. Salmon was buttery soft, and slightly warmed by the rice. So good.
