Chicken Waffles House - Sacramento

The food was disappointing. The oatmeal was undercooked and had a grainy texture. The chicken and waffle was burnt, and there was a hole in the bottom of the plate that leaked onto my work pants while I was at work. At least I appreciated the fruit!

I ordered a well-done cheeseburger, but it was burnt and lacked flavor, with no sauce on the bun. I also got a scoop of vanilla ice cream for $2.99, but the portion was barely a tablespoon. I won’t be ordering lunch again and will just stick to breakfast.

This place is truly a hidden gem. We tried one day on a whim. Since then, we come at least once a month. Wait staff are phenomenal the food is great. The chicken fried steak is my go to, though i have tried many items and liked them all . One of the better chicken fried steaks in the Sacramento region. The hash browns are some of the best I have ever had. The family usually orders more of them after we have finished breakfast.Kid-friendliness: We always bring our kids here and the love it. They have coloring pictures and crayons for the kiddos.
