El Rincon Mexican - Sacramento

I really like this cozy restaurant. The salsa bar is delicious and I especially enjoy their grilled chicken tacos on Taco Tuesday.

Are you kidding me? $15 for the most incredible bowl of soup you've ever tasted, along with a serving of tasty rice, two tortillas, and a basket of chips. The soup is absolutely amazing, clearly made fresh that day. The vegetables were incredibly fresh, the potato was firm and delicious, and the beef chunks were tender and flavorful. The broth was rich and tasty. I tried the chicken soup last week and it was fantastic, so I had to come back and try the beef this time. I also had a delicious chicken street taco that I devoured too quickly to take a picture. If I had a Mexican grandmother, I would hope she could cook like this. Amazing place, I will definitely be back to try everything else!

This restaurant is incredibly charming and comfortable. They offer complimentary chips with a variety of salsa options at the bar. The salsa was delicious and had a nice kick of spiciness. The shredded chicken tacos were exceptional and I would rate them a perfect 10 out of 10. The cashier was very friendly and provided great customer service. I definitely plan on returning to this restaurant often.

Came here on a Monday around 3-4pm it was pretty busy and this place is small with limited seating, I've came here for lunch once and it was super super busy, so I'd recommend to call to place an order ahead of time if you're on a time crunch. The staff are all nice, welcoming, and some of the staff are bi-lingual (english Spanish speaking). The environment is very limited on space, many go outside to wait for their orders and the salsa bar is also in a tight corner of the restaurant. I tried a carne asada sope and 3 carne asada tacos and they were soooo delicious, the meat was cooked well and I added the salsas to everything it was flavorful and the portion size was very filling. I also really enjoy their horchata. This is one of my Mexican restaurants in Sacramento!

We ordered food from this place out of convenience from our rental, but I think this place is a place to go out of the way for! Such good food and great portions.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu
