It's kind of an out of the way place. The inside was clean. The bbq smelled amazing.We wanted to try the food but there was no air conditioning. At 104 degrees it was to hot for us to eat lunch there.When the weather cools down, I may try again.

Pretty expensive. 3 meats for $60. Meat was super dry. I had to chew hella long just to break up the meat. Brisket, though dry I did like it. However, kind of bad when the best sauce you have is your homemade ketchup, which I dipped my brisket in. It's not bad but I probably won't be back. Better places out there.

BBQ so good it makes me proud to an American! With a kind staff (special shout out to Caesar) and all American vibe; this BBQ spot has certainly earned their reputation I got the beef BBQ ribs and they were enormous! I was amazed with how perfectly cooked and smokey the ribs were. I also got the brisket and would highly recommend it to anyone who is a true meat lover. The brisket practically melted in my mouth it was so juicy. Finally, the sides. No BBQ is complete without the sides and this place has plenty options for all tastes. I got the cowboy beans and the Mac and cheese which complimented my meal perfectly. This semi-hidden spot is a go-to if you want some authentic, good quality BBQ at a very fair price. I plan on coming back and even intend on using JRs BBQ for my next catering event so I can spread the love they clearly add to their food. PS: Another shout out to Ceaser! He was incredibly helpful and it was obvious he enjoyed working there. people like that just make the food taste that much better. So thank you Ceaser keep up the good work

Beware of JR's for catering. If they talk you into paying them to serve the food, they will take the left over food with them. This is not industry standard!!!! Also, the serving staff refused to give second helpings to our guests and then took the remaining food. The told us this was a health department regulation. I called the heath department and was informed there is no such regulation.

The food was good, the customer service was terrible. They catered my little brothers wedding for 110 people when our beloved guests went back for seconds they were yelled and and miss treated. I can not believe how we all were treated by the owners granddaughter. We payed for all you can eat....
