J.j. Pfister Distilling Co - Sacramento

Visited this distillery after work with my coworkers. Was super looking forward to having a drink at this point of my day! Ordered a flight of spirits and whoo they were so strong! Decided to get a Haze IPA. Ordered some Brussel sprouts, kettle chips, nachos, and tater tots to start. LOVED the Brussel sprouts the best!! So yummy. Then we all ordered food. I got a BLT, which ended up being spicy as heck (for me, I'm a wimp). I loved the environment inside and out it was really nice. They have live music, which is always the vibe I love! The conversation and vibe was so excellent that we ended up staying for like 4 hours!

Go see Morgan at Pfister Distilling. She's awesome, really knows her stuff. Questions about vodka! She knows. What about the Navy Rum? Morgan knows! Also try the brussel sprouts, they are fantastic

My beautiful friend told me about this place and I was instantly in love with it! It had live music, great ambiance, and phenomenal service. Our waitress Gaby (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was very attentive. All of her recommendations were out of this world. My favorite was the French dip sandwich with the dirty chips. It was crispy and the French dip broth wasn't watery like it came out of a can. It was savory and seasoned. The crunchy panini bread with the perfectly cooked thij slices of beef literally melts into your mouth! A big shout out to the cook and bartenders too! You guys were amazing!! I can ramble on forever about how great this place is, but you have to experience it yourself. Trust me, it is absolutely worth it!

I was impressed with the atmosphere created here. While it is a bit odd approaching the place through a bit of a maze of business park parking lots, once inside, you feel transported. The environment feels lively and hip while keeping a classy undertone. The food was delicious, with so many options. I highly recommend the kettle chips with balsamic glaze and gorgonzola, it was a wonderful combination. The drinks have something for everyone, and the flights are wonderful to sample the many bourbons side by side. In addition the staff was very attentive, friendly and accommodating! This was a wonderful experience!

The food is alright, but the service is slow. You don't know who your server was. Had our food and drink order taken and a few moments later. Another server comes to take our order. We informed her it had already been done. We sat too long waiting for my bill. Just wasn't a good experience. Maybe will give them a second shot.
