Salt n pfefferhemum and walnut garnel and veggie fried rice should be a simple evening meal after a long day work. I and my family got all the terrible stomach pain! I am very disappointed because we have not come to this in a very long time. so irritated I would spend my hard earned money on disgusting eating. I'm still bad and vomiting about 45 minutes after eating. no medications still work, such a bad dim pain?
This week, I had the same two dishes in two different Chinese restaurants, (1) steam two jumbo clams with minced garlic and bean vermicelli, (2) stir fry beef steak strip with wild mushrooms. Both dishes were awesome and delicious. The presentation was also beautiful. New Lai Wah's price was about $12 lower than T Kee. The only reason why I gave New Lai Wah four starts was that there was a housefly in the restaurant. Their interior décor was outdated as well.
I was pretty disappointed with my visit here. As I was here with my family; one of the ladies, including a few others were staring at at us during after we ate. I didn't enjoy that nor was I able to enjoy the food as much. The chow mein was good though. I don't think I'll ever come back, but I sure would like next time to not be stared at while I'm eating or preparing to leave the restaurant.
The hours are not exactly posted and it is irritating. the service is also underpar as they are constantly ignored trying to get food.
