Mezcal Taqueria - Sacramento

The food was mediocre—nothing particularly impressive, but nothing terrible either. Just typical Mexican cuisine. However, the service was outstanding.

This is definitely my favorite spot for delicious tacos, enchiladas, fish or shrimp tacos, carnitas, shredded chicken, and camarones al mojo de ajo (garlic shrimp served with beans, rice, and tortillas)! Every dish is fantastic, and you won't be disappointed! It's always bustling, so it may take a bit longer to get service, but you can tell it’s a family-run business, so I don’t mind the wait at all. The food is always worth it! The staff is incredibly friendly and remembers their regulars—of which we are definitely one! It's so delicious, so make sure to stop by today!

The wet burrito at Mezcal Grill is the best in the city. The carnitas version, in particular, is flavorful and delicious. I definitely recommend this spot for both lunch and dinner!
