For the price of a slice, you are better off just doing that instead. The crust was okay but not flakey like and prefer. Nothing memorable. Nice location, great atmosphere.
Very fun place for after a concert at The Crest Theater. The ONLY thing that is tough is, when you get in line it goes fast and you can't really look at when is in the cases without feeling rushed. Not a lot of room to see what the have. But its a cute place, good (very sweet) desserts.
Rick's Dessert Diner is a nice little place to grab desserts, coffee, wine, and beer! We had coffee and one of the cakes, the cake was good. Our friends ordered pies, ice creams, and cakes and they all looked quite good. Prices are very reasonable, staff is fast and efficient, and the venue has a very nice vibe. I recommend hitting this nice little gem!
The restaurant has a great variety of desserts in a charming, retro diner setting. I tried the Fudge Fantasy Cake, a rich chocolate cake with raspberry preserves and buttercream frosting. My daughters had a chocolate cheesecake topped with chocolate ganache and strawberries, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our treats. The staff was also very friendly.
I had a fantastic experience at this diner! My friend and I decided to stop by on a whim one Friday night. We arrived around 8:30pm, just in time before it started getting crowded. If you have a craving for cake or pie, you'll be pleased with their selection. I personally love ice cream sundaes, and while their flavor choices were limited, we were quite happy with the huge hot fudge sundae we ordered. They also offer a variety of coffee options, which I thought was great. Overall, it was a satisfying meal and I would definitely return in the future.
