I spent 13 bucks, but they accused me of 22 bucks. Tampering with signed receipts is a crime please stop this kind of behavior They give a bad name for all ethnic people
For a quick cost-effective meal, I love the Samosas. Ask for Tamarinden-Chutney. The Okra is also pretty good. But my main train here is Jilabis! Pure golden heavenly sweet treats made to crunch while the rest of Gooey inside. They also have a wide selection of dough burettes in many flavors.
When it comes to a real hole in the wall restaurant with authentic Indian/haat food, Samosa Garden will have you covered. I was actually back at this place at least a dozen times from early 2000's; even before writing reviews was one thing. Located directly in a strip mall on Florin Road East of Highway 99 and just a few blocks from Stockton Blvd., this small family business and business has tasted some of their signatures Indian dishes for several decades. I made my last visit in the afternoon of Sunday, 5th. June 2022 at 2:40. Since this would be a lunch / dinner, I wanted to order enough food that would carry me through the rest of the day. The interior of this place is like no ruffles as you get to eat with several stands and tables. With the occupancy restrictions (as of 2022), however, only one table for the interior was present. Luckily no one else was to eat inside so I enjoyed my meal when it was hot and ready. Now on the food itself.. In all my years that several companies review, this place has NOT changed their prices! To put everything in perspective, here is a crash of the most popular entrees and pages: #1 meal (fresh of the day, Dal, Rice, Roti or Puri) $3.99 #2 meal (fresh of the day, Dal, Rice, Yoghurt, Aloo Tikki, Roti or Puri) $4.99 #3 meal ( chicken curry, vegetables of the day, Rice or Puri. With these rock-ground prizes you can get your Indian fix up and still under ten dollars. Therefore I went with the #2 meal; the vegetables of the day was Baingan Bharta (fired eggplant mash cooked with spices), Dal (yellow lentils, tomatoes, spices), Indian white rice, yogurt (also known as curd or dahi), Aloo Tikki (sweet boiled potatoes with curry spices), and Roti (around whole wheat). I also went with a samosa (fried pastries complete with seasoned potatoes, onions and peas), which contained sweet acid sauce and Cilantro Chutney spicy green sauce. I completed my order with a 12-oz Soda canal. After tax peak I spent incredibly low $9 for everything. My samosa came in just 2 minutes while my main empire was taken out within 7 minutes. Everything was sharp while it smells amazing. The aromatic scent of the curry could be too much for many people, but not me, as I love to eat all curry dishes from different countries. The eggplant was very well seasoned while the Dal had a perfect consistency; very like a creamy lens soup. I especially enjoyed the Aloo Tikki, as I could consume some of them easily without hesitation. But the real winner was her samosa, as it had the perfect crispy dough on the outside with this spicy potato mass complete with pea onions on the inside. Therefore, people order these through the dozen and only 85 ¢ each, I can see why these are a big hit. All in all, Samosa Garden is reasonable, affordable and excellent optio
Stopped for lunch yesterday. Beautiful options and budget friendly. I noticed many bad customer reviews. I haven't experienced this since I was treated very nicely by the younger Galle, which is absolutely beautiful. Will come back for dinner and maybe some?
Just wow ?! This place never fail to surprise me as always the best taste of food. You?ll be surprised to see how quickly she prepare your order. Everything is so delicious and at the end don?t miss a glass of tea ? ?.
