Sarom's Southern Kitchen - Sacramento

I absolutely love the shrimp and grits at Saroms. Its my favorite items out of all the tasty menu choices. I have to have it at least once a month and I always add extra shrimp. The wonderful customer service at Saroms is even better than the food. Try it and you wont regret it.

The Jambalaya was delicious, and a big portion for the price the cornbread is always a hit 10/10

A hidden gem of Sacramento. Seriously, this is a must try. This food is great! the outside of the building and the area don't stand out much and living down the street I never stopped here until one fateful day. I wish they served mimosas because we would be here every weekend if they did. Not that they need them as they appear to always have a full house. The energy inside is fun and the staff is quick and very observant. Their food is southern inspired and warms my soul every time we go. I absolutely recommend the fried chicken and waffles! Though all their food is filling, heavy, and wonderful. It's worth a stop and should be a way bigger deal than it is. Best of all, they gave us all free tastes of their delicious pie at the end of our meal for FREE! That was the quickest way to my heart!

The food was pretty good. I had the Pork chops, eggs and grits. The pork chops were well seasoned and tender. The eggs were cooked good. The grits could use a little work but not the worst that I've had. The service wasn't too great but they weren't bad either. Nice people but weren't very attentive. I definitely will come back.
