Scott's Seafood On The River

We went out for our anniversary dinner and started with a glass of wine at the bar. The service was excellent. I ordered the stir-fried vegetables with grilled shrimp, while my husband had a steak. Both the meal and the service exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely fantastic!

We sat at the bar, and the bartender—whose name we unfortunately forgot—was as fantastic as the Crab Stuffed Lobster Tail special. We decided to break our Dry January resolution and shared a bottle of Schramsberg in celebration of my birthday. They even treated us to dessert and gave us a bottle of wine to take home. The evening couldn't have been more perfect! I can't wait to return and do it all again. Thank you for the wonderful food and service!

First, the only parking option available was valet, which is understandable given that the restaurant is located in a hotel. However, there was no offer of a comp for dining guests. Additionally, my family brought in a birthday cake, and we were informed three times about a plating fee. While I recognize that some restaurants implement such charges, considering my bill was $200 for four people, these extra fees felt like an unnecessary attempt to squeeze more money from customers. Overall, it just felt like a business decision rather than a focus on customer experience. This left a less favorable impression on what could have otherwise been a fantastic outing.

My husband ordered a shrimp cocktail, but the shrimp were past their prime—fishy and tough. Fortunately, the rest of the food was excellent! I loved my Ahi Tuna salad. The location is nice as well; however, the view of the river was obstructed during our visit.

Sorry for the late post! A few weeks ago, I attended a wine pairing event, and it was an absolute blast! I ended up learning far more about wine than I ever expected—before this, I was perfectly happy with just a good white wine. The owner shared his personal story and passion for food and wine, and he played a key role in hosting the event. The pairings were incredible, and the wine and champagne served were outstanding. If they host any similar events in the future, be sure to add them to your to-do list!
