YUMMY! Thank you for accommodating special requests! :
Of all the Thai places in town, Thai Palace is the only one that is consistently good.
Their carrier service is excellent, very nice over the phone and efficient when they board, the parking is always hard, but this is midtown for them! the pad thai is very good
2014 update: by samantha adopted the Thai sister of the former owner in september 2013, they really cleaned the kitchen and improved the dishes. sam's daughter and the fiancée, a real Thai boy takes care of cooking. he is great and sam swell spiced directly from bangkok over her frequent trips to bangkok and chiang mai. among the plus points on the menu are the aubergine dishes and pad thai, which can all be adapted to their desire and level of flavor. I start with the fresh spring rolls keeping the garnel and let them adjust the veg. the aubergines keep the tofu and add additional greens and mushrooms with medium seasoning and brown rice. add a Thai beer and yumm! about $20 and enough for two. sometimes I do the black rice and mango dessert. double yumm. P.S try this for fun and see what happens: when they arrive they put their hands together style and say SA-WAT-DEE-COP when they are a kerl and SA-WAT-DEE-KA when they are a wee. it is a traditional Thai greeting. this little courtesy can return everything from a big smile to a free dessert. of course ymmw.
