The Shack - Sacramento

This was my second visit to this restaurant. They have an extensive selection of IPAs. The outdoor patio has plenty of seating, but the indoor area is quite small. I really appreciate that they allow dogs here. The onion rings were excellent! I had the nutty burger, which was decent, and it came with steak fries. My boyfriend liked his bacon burger.

I'm thrilled to see that The Shack has weathered the challenges that COVID posed to the restaurant industry. Six years ago, I had a less-than-stellar experience and chose not to return for quite some time. However, on my recent visit, I can confidently say that everything has improved tremendously. The service, food, and drinks are all excellent. It's truly a fantastic neighborhood dining experience.

A few weeks ago, I dropped by for lunch while my Mini was being serviced at Frank’s Automotive across the street. The staff was incredibly cheerful and attentive, even during the busy lunch rush! I ordered a breakfast sandwich with eggs, cheese, and avocado. I can't recall the name of the sandwich, but it was absolutely delicious! The French fries were among the best I've had in a long time—thick and flavorful, just like real potatoes should taste. I will definitely be returning!

Don't let the name fool you! The Shack is a wonderful local establishment with great patio seating, food and drink! Food is mix of sandwiches, burgers, brunch/breakfast, fish and chips, fries, o ions rings and more! Drinks were also very good and much more upscale than you'd expect given the name. Prices were reasonable and patio was kid and dog friendly! Would highly recommend for brunch or lunch!

So I got Invited to this place by my buddy Landon and I must say the food was great. We had the Shack burger which was amazing and also fish and chips . The beer was also yummy and the Service was Incredible! I will definitely be back and give this place 2 thumbs !!!!
