The interior is very cozy, with lots of hanging plants, mood lighting, and paintings on the walls. The service was decent, I believe they were understaffed when my partner and I went. There were only 2 servers that we saw. Our server asked us if the other server had told us that there was a menu change, and we hadn't been helped yet at all so we were a little confused. It took a little while for them to get our food out and for us to get the bill, but it was understandable given that we only saw 2 employees. The appetizers that we had were great! Maybe we were just hungry, but they tasted amazing. The mushroom calamari was nice and crispy, and the sauce that it came with was phenomenal! The momo cauliflower had a nice kick to it, and the spiciness had a gradual rise in heat. The ranch ? that was on the plate tasted nice with it as well. The main courses were rather basic. I ordered the fettuccine, but was disappointed to hear that they only had gnocchi that night. The gnocchi was a bit softer/mushier than I preferred, but the sauce was good. The veg fest was huge! The portion size for that dish blew us away, it's definitely enough for 2 meals. I'd recommend the veg fest if you're looking for a whole variety of things to try. The brussel sprouts in it were our favorite part overall. Everything else on it was just ok.
Honestly, it was the best meal I've had in quite some time. The Boiga left me speechless, the chik'n Alfredo was cozy and delicious, and the fries were truly the best in Sacramento. The atmosphere gave the energy of a breakfast nook in a best friend or beloved relative's house. The server was delightful and gave perfect recommendations. We will definitely be back. 10/10 experience Service: Dine in
No matter if you visit Veg on a weekday or for brunch, they always serve your favorite dishes, like Aaron's Fries. The staff is outstanding and offers excellent service. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic evening or a family night out when you don't feel like cooking. You won't be let down.

We went for brunch on the weekend at a restaurant located on the second floor above a Thai restaurant. The atmosphere was very hipster and cozy, with friendly and quick service. We tried the tomato confit bruschetta, savory breakfast crepe, and chick'n waffles. The presentation of the dishes was very aesthetically pleasing. Our favorite was the bruschetta, which was crunchy, savory, and sweet. The chick'n waffles were good, with crispy fried oyster mushrooms and crunchy yet soft waffles. The pickled onions on top added a nice touch. However, the savory breakfast crepe was disappointing, as it was bland and the curry did not complement the crepe well. They have additional items listed on blackboard tiles near the front, but we missed out on trying them since we were seated inside. We would like to come back and try the new items next time!
