Contribuisci feedback5:00 a.m. on a Friday night, place was about 75% filled, fully packed w/ waiting line at 5:30 a.m. I had read the reviews on Zomato had reduced my choices either to the lobster, Mahi Tacos or the Cuban. Then, Bryanna, our waitress, worked on the fried oyster basket. She said there were about 6 oysters, so for $13,50 I ordered the Mahi. But our friends are stuck with the fried oysters. Behold, there were AT LEAST A DOZEN of these beautiful mortals, I was told that they were delicious. Why did I feel SANDBAGGED? The fish tacos were room temperature; I really like the fried oysters that I think was not complementary. ACK!!!! The Amber ale (Gator Tail) was decent w/ a hint of chocolate. The place is quite loud when full, unsuitable for table discussions with friends.
We had out-town guests who wanted to eat in a local pub with the feeling of Florida, so we landed in one of our favorite places, BarFly. It is just a great place to relax and enjoy a beer and fresh Florida seafood. (You have a full bar now and a big bartender. I've read the reviews and I guess most people don't understand if you want fresh seafood, you need to take what got caught so that you might not find the ceviche you are today or the grouper that is so good! But I always had a good meal and a concerned waiting staff here. They have a small kitchen, and with everything cooked when ordered, it can take time, they are really blackened. Last weekend we had a great waiter and one of the best fish tacos I had in the bay. We often seem to stop and have had only a questionable meal, but if we mentioned it to the owner Jeff who works almost always, he did it right. I feel good to support our local facilities that keep the Florida spirit alive.
Fresh and tasty every time with a great friendly relaxed grape variety. Favourite are: Shawl and eat shrimp, seafood nachos, and lobster bites!
Great place. Leave a back atmosphere with large staff. The food is fresh and the beer is cold.
First meal was not very good but love the staff and owner so we went back and had a very good meal...ask what's fresh and favorites of the staff before ordering
