Maria Elena's Bakery - Saginaw

The restaurant is good, although it's a bit small. Their corn and flour tortillas are much better than store-bought ones. The food is tasty, not greasy or dry. This place really stands out because of the quality of their dishes. I highly recommend it!

I tried their empanadas, and they are fantastic! I'm planning to go there for a takeout meal this week.

I bought a dozen mild tamales and a pack of ten flour tortillas. This is an amazing Mexican bakery that I've been visiting for years, and I will definitely continue to return. I didn't pick up any pastries during this visit, however.
