Shipley Do-nuts - Saginaw

These were the smallest kolaches I've ever seen; I felt cheated after buying a dozen. They were the least enjoyable I've ever tasted and definitely not worth the price.

Wow!!! The maple long john was incredibly heavy—almost felt like it weighed half a pound! It was so dense and rich! Not your usual light and airy donut at all!

It was much better in the past. Lately, the donuts taste like they're not freshly made. I was really disappointed during my last visit.

I was really in the mood for a chocolate glazed twist, but when I got to the shop, they only had chocolate-covered ones available. I didn’t notice this until I reached my car because they had packed it in a box in the back. When I went back inside to explain the mix-up and asked for a cinnamon twist instead, they charged me for the new twist rather than just exchanging it. On top of that, I learned that the chocolate glazed twists wouldn’t be ready until 6:00, as I had arrived right when they opened.

Exceptional service, tasty pastries, and a fantastic team! We coordinated a stop for a group of 40 classic cars to pick up some donuts. Kim handled all the arrangements, making it a perfect beginning to our tour. A big thank you to everyone at Shipley’s Do-Nuts in Saginaw!
