Restaurante Vilavelha - Sagres

We visited this restaurant for dinner with 4 adults and 4 children (7 11 yrs). We experienced this place as extremely child unfriendly and inflexible. The kids were not allowed to move either inside or outside. According to the owner’s idea, the kids should sit quietly at the table. We left the restaurant before the first order. There are numerous options for a very good, relaxed dinner in Sagres.

We started with the home-made bread, olives and Algarve pork liver, then we went with seafood- tuna steak and the fish skewer. All was good, albeit not cheap. Very nice terrace to dine outside.

Best meal in our 2 week stay in Portugal. If you come across this place, go here! The food was fresh, very tasty, homemade, and made with love.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! I had prawn curry and my wife had the fish skewer. If was allowed to lick the plate, I would have done. Lovely restaurant with a chef who knows how to cook.

Vila Velha is simply THE BEST RESTAURANT IN SAGRES!!!! Food is absolutely fantastic (everything in the menu is excellent! . I can only give 5 stars and always come back. Definitely our favourite!!!
