Bistro au carre - Saguenay

This restaurant truly impressed me. Firstly, it is recommended to make a reservation as they tend to be very busy. I didn't have a reservation but luckily someone gave up their table for me. The location is convenient with plenty of parking spaces on Davis Street. The restaurant itself is small but modern and comfortable inside. Despite being full of people, it was not too noisy. The service was exceptional, with the staff being attentive and friendly. They always made sure our water and drinks were topped up and checked in regularly to ensure everything was to our liking. They were also very accommodating with my limited French, offering assistance in English. The menu mainly consists of tapas, with some larger entrees available as well. They also have daily specials that I look forward to trying in the future. The quality of the food was outstanding, and there is something for everyone on the menu. Overall, I will find it hard to try new restaurants in Saguenay as I will most likely be returning to this one time and time again.

I randomly decided to try this restaurant for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I never expected the food to be so delicious and well-prepared, especially at such affordable prices. I enjoyed my meal so much that I returned for dinner and once again had a great experience. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is extremely friendly and attentive. The food was flavorful and unique compared to other restaurants in the area. I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely return again!

Despite the name change since my last visit, this restaurant is still a fantastic place for lunch. The food is great, the soups are delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. There is always a wide variety of options on the lunch menu, and everything is tasty. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by for a meal.
