Very expensive for what you get, but the staff are very pleasant and made our breakfast enjoyable.

We have a family of four and booked a room at the DoubleTree by Hilton in San Jose that said “Breakfast included.” We specifically booked with Hilton because we knew from past experiences that they have really good complimentary breakfast. We came to find out that at the DoubleTree the only breakfast that was included was a buttered croissant, a cup of fruit, and a glass of orange juice. That’s it. It’s the “Continental Breakfast” on the menu, which they normally charge $14 for. There is nothing else set out to grab from. No buffet. Nothing else free. This is seriously a low-ball move. We will not be staying here again.

When you eat at a breakfast place in a big hotel you don’t expect a lot. And yet it still managed to disappoint. Service was pretty good but coffee was awful, home fries limp and pork sausage links dry and tough. Toast not too bad.

The selection is pretty good for a hotel and they offer all items you Would expect in a hotel breakfast buffet. However the Price is on the High side so I expected a little more. They have bread in various kinds, a limited selection of fruit, bacon, eggs, sausages, cereal and cakes. I Will likely go out for breakfast if I stay here again.

This is a standard continental breakfast. Quality is ok and the staff friendly and quick. A bit pricey considering the content.
