Great food , no ambiance. Local people eat there. Truly old Mexican taqueria. Great drinks. Good tacos and burritos and plates.
Finally tried this authentic taco staple in the Burbank neighborhood! We went on a Sunday at noon after swim class down the street and found parking on site. There were a few tables outside under patio umbrellas. It isn't a fancy place and can use some updates but itself definitely authentic. Each regular taco is now $2.99 but that's the bay area for you. I ordered the taco plate which was $6.99 and had one taco plus beans and rice. The plate was huge and had about a cup each of Mexican rice and semi mashed refried pinto beans. I ate the taco de cabeza (head) which was delicious. My son ate some of the rice and beans. My husband had the chicken super burrito and was only able to eat half because it looked like it weighed 3 lbs. The service was limited at that time so some tables were not clean. Otherwise, large menu including breakfast.
This place is a gem, the tacos are the best in town. Definitely give this place a try. The Al Pastor, Carnitas, and Cabeza are my go to.
First of all there are better taqueeia out the street. The food wasn't great at all. Customer service was very disappointing. Rude cashier lady. Never coming back.
