Nice neighborhood spot with a wide variety of good pies. Variety of flavors, variety of sizes, and savory as well as sweet. They also serve other food items but I haven't tried anything besides some of the pies. They also serve coffee and other drinks.
Small cozy place for pies and quiches. Had the mushroom bacon and spicy sausage quiches, good flavor but the crusts were not flaky, in fact the mushroom bacon quiche crust was overworked and hard to cut through.Tried the mini pies peach, apple and lemon too. Peach was good. Lemon’s filling had great flavor, crust was hard but crunchy. Apple mini was great overall.
Mini pies for $3 bucks and medium $8. These were definitely small and costly... ube was out of stock, guava was ok. Not sure about the hype, they were alright. I like them good old fashioned pies with soft crust whipped creme but this wasn't it. Hard to find in sj, I suppose.
This place must literally be a scam or someone completely different makes the sweet pies because the two savory pies we tried were absolutely horrible. We didn't eat more than two bites. The crust was flavorless and dry and the egg was soggy and tasteless from veggies that had not been properly sautéed or cooked down prior to adding them. I'm not sure if this was a fluke as this small business is highly reviewed. I can only speak from our own experience so am adding an extra star to hedge those doubts and to acknowledge that someone must have used fresh ingredients and made these pies from scratch...they just were not well done.
