Nothing amazing about the decor, but that's not what we were there for. The customers were all eating happily so that's a good sign. Got a seat pretty quick.Didn't wait long before the staff got us drinks and took our order.I had the chicken fried steak with overeasy eggs, hash browns and two pancakes. All of it was delicious. The CFS was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and the gravy on top was great. Everything else was delicious too.Wife has the crab cakes egg benedict(?? (not sure what it was called . This was yummy too. The cool avocados and tomato went great with the warm crab cakes and egg. Loved it.We will definitely come back again. 5 stars!
I visited this location this past weekend for an early Sunday brunch. We arrived at the restaurant around 10:30am or so, and it was already packed. I had joined the waitlist about 30 minutes earlier via the maps option, otherwise it likely would have been a 30 45 minute wait.We were seated relatively quickly at an outdoors table it was pretty windy that day, and they had some heat lamps going, but it was still chilly in the spots where the lamps didn't quite reach. The menus were attractive, and clearly laid out the options and customizations available. Prices were very reasonable, given the portion sizes.I ordered the country fried steak with 2 eggs (over easy). It also came with a generous helping of hash browns, as well as the option for toast or an item from their griddle menu (I opted for pancakes). The food came out pretty quick, and as stated above, the portion sizes were huge. The country fried steak was well seasoned, crispy on the outside, but incredibly tender inside, and covered in a delicious country gravy. Eggs were cooked well, as were the hash browns. All in all, a pleasant gem of a restaurant. Good food, large portions, and great service. I'd 100% come again if I'm back in the area.
Come here for the country fried steak and hash browns. The corned beef hash (homemade, not from a can) and blueberry danish French toast was also great. Can’t really go wrong here.
Great service, the waitress was very patient with me and all the special request that I had.
The food here is amazing. The potatoes are full of flavor. The hash browns were nice and crispy. The concept of the restaurant is simple and good. They have waffles, pancakes, crepes. You can pick your choice of toppings. Portions are a good size. I tried the country fried steak. Very tender and great flavor. My gf had their omelette. Cheese and avocado all tasted fresh. We shared an order of the choc pancakes. You can get choc in the batter or choc chips on them. We opted for the choc batter. Very good. Will be coming back to try other options. They do get busy here so come early if you want a seat indoors. We opted to sit in the patio and were seated immediately. Heaters are available as well.
