I ordered a few of the original cheese tart wow, probably my favorite out of all the goodies I got that day... the matcha and chocolate cheese tart were both decent and definitely worth checking out. The ube cheese tart was also a hit from my mom and sis-in-law. Will definitely be on my stop list whenever I'm in the SJ area.
Cute spot on the corner. The location was absolute because it was located near the movie theater and other vendors with savory dishes. This was my first time trying Japanese desserts, omg soooo yummy. I've ordered the matcha original cheese tart and the Oreo cheese cake. Both were fluffy and fresh out of the oven. When I arrived, their was no line but it was difficult to find a place to eat. The service was fast and everyone were very friendly and polite.
If you're used to New York cheesecake, which is what's served at most places in the US, this is much lighter and not as sweet. This is the kind of cake that you'll want a second slice of.
Bought some of their normal cheesecakes and tried out the basque cheesecake. Cheesecakes here cost more than other locations, at $15. The basque is $25.The basque is good, but doesn’t beat a real basque. The cheesecakes here are also fluffy, light, and not too sweet. I suggest the original or strawberry cheesecakes.
Bad serviceWent there and the person in front don't even say hello to me when I talked to, he was staring at me with bad mood. I asked for menu items and he barely answered. The product is okay, not worthy of the price and bad manners.
