Top restaurant in the Luberon! Delicious food, fine service, nice restaurant and fine wines!
The French restaurant mention is to die of laughing in view of the map displayed on the onion. An automatic translation of English terms: a breast-based dish becomes a breast-based dish smoked salmon persists to be a salmon smoke .... I suppose that not having ratified the Schengen agreements the bosses ask for the identity card at the entrance?????? Speaking of the identity that remains of Provence with such an approach to our terroir in all its aspects and in its language in the first place...... Contacts in progress with the guides who report the establishment: they may have eaten but certainly not read the map. Suggestion to the owner: invest in an interpreter. Good save Saignon!
Run, don't walk, to La Petite Cave! An exceptionally good restaurant in the charming village of Saignon. Of all the great meals we had in Provence, dinner here was our favorite.
Put this at the top of your 'to eat at list ' when in Provence. Over the years we have become accustomed to the unique dining to be had a La Petite Cave and it never fails to please. Finding a good meal with high quality cooking is becoming increasingly difficult but not at La Petite Cave and once again this year we left very content. The menu may not be as extensive as some restaurants but this plays to the strengths of the cooking; good fresh ingredients lovingly presented and often with a twist, for example Foie Gras with a taster of garam masala on the side, wonderful.
