I say mixed because I want to eat there every day! And I came a few times near. It is not a far enough to go to balance the calories! What can I say... their sandwiches are so. Loves the poor boy, the hot salami, the meatball and so many others. Good. Last week I changed things and ordered a pasta with Italian sausage....wow. I disappeared. I would like this pasta against any of the chic Italian restaurants on the hill. Just delicate and tasty. Now it becomes even more difficult to stay away!! I love Joe Fassi.
I had the meatball sandwich and the woman had the sausage sandwich, they were the best we had. We found this place by chance. We just drove through St.Louis at noon, so we were just looking for sandwich shops nearby. Excellent find great food and easy to find.
What a fun little place with a great owner and delicious sand! I had the meatball Sub and it was honestly the best sub I ever had. The meatballs are so delicious, the sauce is brilliant and not too sour and the cheese bread was perfect. All the way, I would highly recommend giving Joes an attempt!
Great little deli in a beautiful neighborhood. We had the Joe Fassi Pranzo Salat and the Poor Boy Sandwich. Both were very good and good. Service was very good, friendly. We're definitely going back.
I was not impressed. It was decent, but nowhere near the quality for the price. I know prices are high right now, and everyone is struggling. I ordered the hot salami, which appeared to be the same sausage as my wife 's Aunt Jennie Salsiccia. There was an undisclosed upcharge for the bread. My wife didn 't want chips, so the person behind the counter said, do you want a small pasta salad instead? Yes, I would! 5 dollar charge for basically a bowl of dressing. My hot salami sandwich had more onions and yellow mustard than meat. I would say, no more than 3oz of meat per sandwich. $45.85 for a light lunch. No need to go back. I 'll stick with Gioia 's. That is if I can ever afford to eat out again! Thanks for the inflation, capitalist pigs!
