Contribuisci feedbackI have conducted a total of 7 courses with edith for 2 hours over a 7 week period. the kitchen takes place in its house in the picturesque ardeche. first, edith is a very patient person with a really international knowledge about food. at the end of each session she asked what I want to do next and she never knew how to do it. so we went from French classics like coque au vin to tzatziki (Greece, humus (north African style and guacamole.) at the end of each session I took the food home to enjoy dinner. (ask her about egelfin with sauce chermoula! she even supported me by phone when I went back to ask a few details I might have forgotten. great investment as we now cook and enjoy one of the dishes that I learned to house every night.
We spend a very pleasant afternoon in edith’s kitchen to learn about the culture and cooking habits of Thailand, get to know certain Asian ingredients, and above all: cook a delicious and generous meal together! I had some experience already cooking vegan dishes as. good as Asian recipes, no less I learned a lot. this evening meal consisted of several interesting dresses that are perfect for learning the basis of the vegan Thai cuisine. we all had a great time in the kitchen and the meal was rich, varied and delicious. I strongly recommend la cuisine d’edith to eat delicious food, participate in a high-quality workshop, and for ediths pleasant presence and cordial greeting!
Edith is not only a nice host, but also a very professional cook and teacher. in her easy-going style she learned us a lot about vegan cooking and especially how to prepare a delicious meal that was totally vegan in Asian style. after we're in a workshop of 3 hours. have prepared various dishes, we have prepared the table and enjoyed the delicious results of our work together. as a non-vegetrian and non-vegan participant (but as a mother of vegeterian/vegan children) I was more than pleasantly surprised by all the tasteful possibilites she presented to us. it was a great wide and we will be back because it has many other recipes to teach us.
My wife and I were ende juni guests of edith and her family in a 'Week-End gourmand.' this was definitiw one of the highlights of our trip in Provence and the Ardeche. we had a wonderful time! edith is a nice and warm host that makes her feel really welcome in her kitchen. we arrived on Friday afternoon and had drinks and an excellent evening meal. on Saturday morning we went with edith to the market in les vans, where they brought fresh and local products and presented us to many local products and special tasty. on our return we had a wonderful de marché lunch with 'fresh of the market' products. the lunch started with wein and start on a picnic table in the obstgarten in her backyard, and drove comfortably on the veranda. it was perfect! on the afternoon we had a cooking session where we prepared a complete dinner that we later ate together with the family. to finish the weekend, on Sunday morning we had a great backsession where we prepared financiers, madeleines and other cookies together. the cookies followed us later during the whole holiday: . we even have gifts on revisit. they have the opportunity to sleep in a guest room in the house or in a chambre d 'hotes over the street. the house is located on a back road so that they feel completely remote and close to nature, but in fact it is only about 1 1/4 hours away from avignon and less than that of uzes, so that it can easily be combined in a Provence holiday as we did. Moreover, it is not far from other ardeche attractions such as the aven orgnac cave, vallon pon 't d 'arc and the ardeche shy. highly recommended!
My wife and I were guests of Edith and her family in a 'Week-end Gourmand' at the end of June. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip in Provence and the Ardeche. We had a marvelous time ! Edith is a kind and warm host who really lets you feel welcome in her kitchen. We arrived on Friday afternoon and had drinks and an excellent dinner. On Saturday morning we went with Edith to the market in Les Vans where she picked fresh and local produce and introduced us to many local products and special treats. On our return we had a wonderful "retour de marché" lunch with 'fresh of the market' products. Lunch started with wine and appetizers on a picnic table in the orchard in their back yard, and continued leisurely on the porch. It was perfect! In the afternoon we had a cooking session where we prepared a full dinner, that we later ate together with the family. To finish up the weekend, on Sunday morning we had a great baking session where we prepared together financiers, madeleines and other cookies. The cookies accompanied us later on throughout the rest of our vacation :). We even got some goodbye presents. You have the option of sleeping in a guest room in the house or in a chambre d'hotes across the street. The house is on a back road so you feel totally secluded and close to nature, but in fact it is only about 1 1/4 hours away from Avignon and less than that from Uzes, so it can be easily combined in a Provence vacation, as we did. In addition it is not far from other Ardeche attractions such as the Aven Orgnac cave, Vallon Pon't d'Arc and the Ardeche gorges. Highly recommended !
