We stumbled across this beautiful courtyard as they were setting up, and as it was approaching 33 degree heat, I felt drawn to book a table a few hours later for lunch under its shady, private awnings. And boy am I glad I did! Lunch was superb so much so that we've booked to go again tomorrow! Everything was just perfect the heat, the shade, the ambience, the setting, the food, the wine and the timing. My partner and I both ordered the cannelloni with couscous which was the perfect size for lunch and clearly made with great passion. The service was excellent, and was everything was explained to us by a lovely man who spoke wonderful English and thankfully wasn't put off by our abysmal French ; Before you start rushing to book and believe me you should here's what you need to know. The two men who run this amazing place make just two main dishes a vegetarian option and a meat option, and then a choice between two desserts. So in effect it's a set menu don't let this put you off the choice was difficult to make even though there was only two! We added some rose and voila a perfect lunch under a sunny French sky! If you have a fussy eating six year old like us just feed them beforehand! We did and our son still had a lovely time drawing and watching the going ons under the shade. If you're tempted to come here for lunch after reading this review I would suggest you book. I think we got lucky because we managed to book as they were setting up in the morning but when we arrived we took the last empty table. Without doubt our best meal in France so far!

A gem of a restaurant...simple, but delicious menu. All home made with passion and flavour and served by two wonderful hosts... Recommend booking in advance...!
