The Gourmet Hut - Saint Augustine

Not from St. augustine or ever was even after florida, I made a reservation on the basis of favorable reviews and photos of eating as well as the beautiful outdoor escaping. when we arrived on Friday night, the restaurant was dark, closed, without notice on the door. It was not funny to find another place to eat in this lively city on a weekend. When I called the next day to ask what happened, the person who answered the phone said, "It was raining." I knew that because we had gone in the rain to get there after the parking place, but told him that I had not received a call or text to tell me that the restaurant was not open. his answer was “it is a restaurant outdoors”. I asked him how I should know that if I wasn't out of the area and his answer was just "is it something else they want?" well, yes, actually an apology would have been because I didn't see in the description that the only it area is out!

Tha ambiente and live music make this place a great place to dinate. eating is very good, although I think that their menu could use some updates. also the dinner was excellent.

Go! the menu was a little confusing for us as well as other restaurants, but if they pass this pump, eating is amazing! the atmosphere was cool, free and different. it is close to everything, but it is really very quiet.

Fantastic brunch! the food was delicious and the service was great! I can't wait to go back.
