Vulcan - Saint Bathans

Beautiful sunny day to visit St Bathans and Blue Lake. Historical value absolutely and so worth the trip in. Had lunch in the sun at Vulcan Hotel, and the young man that looked after us was wonderful, very interested in history and was happy to share information with us. Highly recommend a visit. Interested in finding out more about the area and the resident ghost.

Bar and dining room were warm, cosy, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the service was very good. The food was very good and tasty. Different beers on tap. Coffee bar in dining room. Location is off the beaten track but definitely worth the drive in. Beautiful area. Go here, you will love it too.

Charming pub with a welcoming staff and a great selection of their own ale enjoyed in a lovely garden. This was topped off with a fantastic swim in the lake.

A group of us went to the vulcan for a meal, it was delicious. All meals were very filling and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be going back.

First time there last night… friendly staff and the people around there lovely it also throwsback 1860s town cool such a nice place ..100 percent im coming back again… love the tacos
