Forced to admit that this restaurant experience did not live up to our expectations. We are young parents who allowed ourselves a rare evening without children last Friday. When making the reservation online, I specified that my partner was allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. Upon arrival at the restaurant we repeated this information to our waitress and she told us she already knew it. We wanted to spoil ourselves and ordered the 6 course meal, expecting a real culinary experience, we asked the waitress again to make sure with the kitchen that there were no concerns with allergies before ordering. order our dishes, she assured us that everything was ok. The service was courteous, but the waitress was unable to answer our questions about the menu and had to validate in the kitchen before coming back to us with the answer; for a gourmet restaurant, we were surprised not to have a more informed server. The evening still went well, we appreciated the pairing proposed by the sommelier, our dishes were mostly good, we enjoyed this rare moment as a couple. When we got to the last service, dessert, we were full and we were expecting a party so we asked to take the dessert to go. We receive the bill and we leave the premises, 2 hours later I receive a call from the restaurant which informs us that there were hazelnuts in the dessert, he apologizes and asks us if my partner had tasted them. Chances are, no, my partner hadn't tasted the dessert yet, but this call left us feeling really uncomfortable. It is already difficult for my partner to trust most restaurants because he often feels that his allergies are not taken seriously and that the employees are poorly informed, which greatly reduces the pool of restaurants we frequent. We have realized over the years that gourmet restaurants are much more serious and our allergies are always taken care of and we immediately feel confident, so after a bill of almost $350 for 2 people, we stay with a bitter taste of this experience and it is very disappointing for a luxury that we really do not often afford. We appreciate that the restaurant contacted us but it was 2 hours later, the chances that we had already eaten dessert were huge, this type of mistake should never happen. To err is human, but when we talk about allergies we are talking about the life of someone who could be put in danger, and there is no risk to take. I really hope that new measures will be put in place to avoid this type of error in the future, for our part, unfortunately we will not set foot in this establishment again.

Romantic dinner. Everything was delicious, from starter to dessert. The house cocktails are super elaborate. The service was impeccable. And finally, the place is magnificent: the decor and the atmosphere are top notch.
