Pio's Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge

Pios is truly "old St Charles"None of the restaurants on historic Main Street have been in business as long as Pios.

I came here for a good pasta dish before the St Louis marathon.

Dry prime rib, cafeteria style French fries, tons of red meat sauce on limp soggy ravioli.

Had shrimp cocktail, mussels and side salad with blue cheese for lunch. Five large shrimps with beautiful cocktail sauce, but shrimps had no taste. Chowder tasted like a can. Salad was basic bag iceberg salad, some brown leaves with two cherry tomatoes and blue cheese upstairs. Give me $25.

We had lunch last night. Chicken and dumplings, man had beef dinner and a cup of vegetable soup. All sooo good. Oh, and share homemade coconut mering cake! I'm sorry, no pictures because we were too excited to eat our food!
