They have painted fire hydrants on the restroom doors, serve fries in a dog bowl (which is presumably only used by people), and feature a fantastic dog-friendly terrace. It's perfect for both people-watching and observing dogs. The bar can get quite loud, and the interior is spacious (though often crowded). The food is quite good as well. If you’re a dog lover, you’ll definitely enjoy this place!
We returned for lunch because we enjoyed dinner so much. Last night, we met TC, who loves folding, and he was our waiter again today. He had brought us a piece of speck last night and today, he treated us to two pieces. Once again, the food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding! We truly felt like family. We will definitely be back next time we’re in St. Louis! Tonight, we stopped by with our dog, and the waitress promptly brought out a bowl of hot water for her. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and there was live music! The waitstaff attended to us with great care and attentiveness. It was a very pleasant evening! We would absolutely return.
Beautiful old building in the heart of downtown Saint Charles, Missouri with an old tin ceiling. The service from my waitress, Sherry and food were excellent. I had the White Chicken Chili and the brisket plate. Bothell were an excellent choice.
We were actually walk down the street to another restaurant when we noticed this place had a shrimp boil special for $7.99. We decided that sounded good, so we went in. The place is really cool with a little of a dog motiff based on the name. (Rottweiler). My wife and I both ordered the shrimp boil, not really expecting much. It came with a salad which hit the spot. The boil consisted of 5 large shrimp, potatoes, and a small ear of corn. For the price, that was a fair deal. The shrimp were big and very tasty and the corn was good. I'm not a fan of boiled potatoes, but they were ok. We liked the atmosphere. It's a very old building in a historic area. There is a cool stained glass window next to one of the TV's. We would definitely go back if we were in the area.
It normally really good. They were busy and our food was bad this time. Great place for a drink. They have live music. They also allow smoking.
