Silver Lake Chinese - Saint Charles

This particular Silver Lake location has been our favorite spot for Chinese food for years. They've consistently delivered great flavor throughout that time. I'm a big fan of potstickers, and Silver Lake offers some of the best I've ever tasted. Although I currently live in Arizona, I always make sure to get my potsticker fix from here. It's been a while, but the former manager was incredibly friendly during our visits. Dining here has always been a great experience. Please don’t ever change—you have my love!

The food here is great if you're looking for a quick Chinese meal. I typically order the General Tso's chicken and various lo mein dishes, both of which are delicious. The egg rolls are excellent as well. However, they really need to improve their online ordering system. It doesn't properly update addresses—I compared my receipt with the driver's ticket—and it also fails to convey special requests. This issue seems to stem from the online service rather than the restaurant itself. From now on, I'll just place my orders over the phone.

The food here is incredibly fresh, and the portions are quite generous. The service is exceptional! I reside in West Aurora but willingly make the drive to dine here. It's the best Chinese restaurant I've discovered! Even after three years, I still love this place!

This is our favorite place to have dinner after watching a movie. I tried the Beef Hor Fun Noodle lunch special, and it was absolutely delicious! The egg roll, egg drop soup, and the main dish were all fantastic. We also ordered some crab rangoons, which were incredible! The service is always friendly and prompt. If you’re in the area and craving good Chinese food, definitely check it out!

We absolutely love Chinese cuisine and have spent a lot of time searching for a good Chinese restaurant in the area. Coming from Chicago and having frequently dined in Chinatown makes us quite discerning. We’ve tried every place around, and all have been disappointing—until now. This restaurant in St. Charles was a pleasant surprise. It's smaller than the one in South Elgin, but it has a cozy atmosphere. The house fried rice, egg foo young, and Mongolian beef were all fantastic. Plus, it’s very affordable! We can often enjoy a meal for under $20. Just be sure to visit the St. Charles location.
