The Red Sun - Saint Charles

I'm not usually a fan of sushi, but this restaurant was fantastic. There were so many different options to choose from. The decor was lovely, allowing diners to watch the chef prepare the various types of sushi they offered. It was clear that this was a family-owned restaurant and I would definitely come back when in the area.

I recently visited Red Sun for the first time. I wanted to explore new dishes and I did. Everything had a great taste and the server was friendly. I definitely plan on returning. The best dish I tried was the bark gyudon, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The pink sauce that came with the potstickers was also delicious.

This family-owned restaurant is fantastic. Their ramen is excellent and their sushi is delicious. I highly recommend it.

Tried the red sun for the first time tonight and was not disappointed! it is very clean and covered, and has great music and friendly / Quick service. eating is excellent! it is beautifully refined, the ingredients taste fresh and tasty, and the rolls are a great size. my man and I started with crabs-rangoon (the dipping sauce is amazing) and split a green drachen and a white drachen. he has a rainbow for himself and I have a Russian California for me. we will definitely come back.

Loved it! Stopped in for carry out on a calm Saturday night, and they even brought me a water while I waited. There's a nice selection of ramen options on the regular menu, and they offered me an expanded ramen menu that has classic favorites plus a shrimp option and two completely vegetarian options (mushroom broth/vegetable broth). The carry-out option was packed well and hit the spot!
