We asked for it, but we seemed to disturb the waitress... and then we took a cassolette of wet in the slates. As a weary we had lardons the pieces of wet were almost nonexistent. Second flat no bread had to be claimed. Then I take a veal head with a gribiche sauce. As a head I had tongues whose skin had not even been really sagging out. on the other hand, the dishes are extremely copied. the wine brought in a pocket without ice result the wine quickly became hot given the temperature of the room. to finish at the time of paying the boss exchanges eyes with the unfriendly waitress and laughter. We clearly understood that we were mocking. frankly unacceptable attitude. restaurant to be avoided except for big eaters and those who love that they lack respect.

Following the comments read on tripadvisor we were comforted in our choice. from outside really it does not pay a mine and we would certainly have gone without notice. we chose there possibility to eat dessert dish in 1:15 to then go to a show. and the goal was respected even by taking a menu e / p / d. the room is simple but with shimmering colors. The tables are quite spaced. we arrived at 7:00 p.m. and so were quiet before the arrival of other customers a little later. The service is courteous without chichis and with explanations to our requests (e.g. from meat, accompaniment change) and accessing our desires. We had a little weed-fresh cheese verrine to wait but the bread was not yet on the table, we waited for it to be able to tartinate. Then the entries came: salmon and toasts grilled for my companion and gizzard salad for me. beautiful presentations, very well seasoned and also very copied. the dishes: veal head for him and beef skewer for me with a very original presentation for the latter that I had never seen before. well presented and still a lot of taste. It wasn't the traditional steam potato with the veal head but sunk apples and very good mushrooms anyway. For me I had asked for vegetables instead of potatoes with the skewer and I had mushrooms and green beans without problem and very good. Thankfully because I had already had potatoes with my salad in the hall. desserts: nougat iced requested without English cream for him and he was put in place with whipped cream. excellent. and a gourmet infusion for me with 4 mini desserts (fruit salt, burned cream, pannacotta, enjoy the chocolate.) just a flat on the fruit salad that does not present top and that appeared in box but all the rest cute and very good. We took a bottle of white wine. excellent also. for 2 note of about 80€ with drinks (1/2 mineral water, wine and 1 coffee.) good quality - price. For us who are gourmets of gourmet cuisine most often, we found here a traditional cuisine with a lot of taste and good products well cooked and presented. nowadays it is sometimes difficult to find this and unfortunately we often fall into the mediocre and banal and it is a shame to pay for it. Not here.
Don't stay away from the sad and terne facade, come in, the interior is much more modern! as to the kitchen, really good: the grills of my guests were more than appetizing. and my caffeine rhyme was absolutely delicious, while being very copied. good value price, with in addition some interesting bottles!
Restaurant with good value price on st dizier. quality products. very kind personal. a small cooking concern but immediate proposal to change the dish in question. we'll be back
