Saffron Café - Saint George's

This cafe is located inside Spiceland Mall, just outside the Grenada Co-op Bank. They have quite the menu of coffees and serve food as well. I came in for breakfast and had two fresh made callalou and cheese tarts with a cappuccino. The tarts were very delicious and satisfied my morning hunger. The cappuccino is strong! I enjoyed this, as usually they tend to turn out very mild because of too much milk. The prices here are very fair; I paid $12ec for a small cappuccino and $4ec per tart. They have an all-day breakfast menu and a build-your-lunch menu as well, of which I've posted photos. There are also daily soups and a selection of desserts and some alcohols. It's surprising to see a menu of this size offered here as it is a very small place, but all the tables are outside the shop. I look forward to coming again for a meal and writing about that.

I really enjoy going to Saffron for a coffee and breakfast. Depending on how you're feeling on the day you can have your choice of a Grenadian style breakfast, English style or a traditional omelette. The coffee is great and despite being in a mall it still has the ambiance of a traditional café. Strongly recommend stopping by and grabbing a meal!
